Welcome!

I've been told many times that I should write a book. I have started one a few times and never got through it. I have just been too busy playing to write a book, but now I think it's time to share my experiences with the world. I figured I could handle a blog and if it becomes more, great!! I knew when I was really young that I wanted to work with children and so I got busy starting schools and playing my way through the days. I've owned and operated three schools now and worked with infants through adults (raising three young men to adulthood.) My first two schools were traditional preschools until I took my Montessori training and never looked back. Montessori, Nature and Gardening are my passion. Children have been my life for over 30 years - day in and day out. Besides my B.S. Degree in Early Childhood Education working with children has given me years of research and some solid knowledge of how these little people work. I can honestly say that I have had a blessed life working with so many babies and children and families. Every day is new and fun and comes with its challenges, but I have always been excited to get up and go to work...except for when it's raining outside (NOT a fan) ...those days are meant to be sitting by a cozy fire.

Raising children is NO joke and they don't come with instructions or an owner's manual. I'm hoping that my time served can shine some light on some of your difficult moments. They grow up fast so enjoy the ride and whatever you do don't blink or you'll miss it!!
